Updated statement - 24/03/2020

Norbain is continuing to work to Government guidelines and is dedicated to ensuring that we carry on protecting our staff as far as possible. We also want to ensure that we continue to offer a great level of service and support to our customers. We are still open as usual (although under slightly different conditions!) and we still have stock in the warehouse that we can ship to a location of your choosing. Everyone that that can work from home is now doing so or will be imminently. To help you get in touch with your Account Manager as easily as possible, we would ask that you use the contact sheet. Email is currently the most reliable form of communication, so we’d ask that you use that over direct dial numbers for the time being. We have also provided details for Customer Services and Technical Support amongst others.

As a distributor that sources and ships goods across the world, we have been closely following the development of COVID-19. The global impact to businesses and individuals is undeniable and our thoughts are with all who have been affected by the pandemic.

Initially our customers’ concerns regarding COVID-19 related to the supply of products which relied on manufacturing in China. To this end we obtained statements from our key suppliers via the links at the bottom of this message.

However, as things develop, new factors must come into consideration. Please be assured that we will continue to monitor the situation and will be guided by government recommendations on the best way to deal with these rapidly changing conditions. At the current time we can supply and support our customers in the usual way. We have high levels of stock in our UK warehouse, and all our operations are working normally.

To reflect the latest Government guidelines, Norbain will be facilitating home working where practical, with priority given to those who are at high risk. To further protect our staff as far as we are able, all face to face meetings with customers and suppliers are on hold until the Government advice changes.

We will keep this page updated with our latest COVID-19 statement.
